Man in Stable Condition After Being Shot in Face

Kalamazoo, MI:  Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 1200 block of Wells Pl.  On Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 at 3:40 a.m., a seventeen year old male arrived at Bronson Hospital with a gunshot wound to the face. The victim told officers that he was a passenger in a vehicle and noticed that a white Dodge Durango had been following them for several blocks.  As they were driving in the 1200 block of Wells Pl, the occupants in the Durango fired several shots at them one of which struck the victim in the face. The victim was admitted to Bronson Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Suspects in the case are unknown at this time.
